Kenneth Denton was a son of James and Amelia Denton, of Deane, Bolton, Lancashire. 
Denton served with Headquarters Company or as a signaller attached to A Company. According to the Roll of Honour published by the Society of Friends of the Airborne Museum (Jan Hey 2011) he died of wounds in the St. Joseph Psychiatric Hospital at Apeldoorn, and was buried in the local Heidehof General Cemetery, grave 5 on 16 february 1945.
